I was there until they started shuffling us to the exits at 1:45 pm and chaining the doors. They have no plans for what to do with the property. (at least thats what they are saying- they kept denying the impending closure until it was out on too many media outlets to keep quiet any further.
They couldn't even keep the "Thanks for the memories" message going all day on the main marquee- It wasn't there last night, and was shut off promptly at 2pm.
The north windows by the Nascar Cafe and also doors at Paradise/Sahara were already boarded up last night, and they started chaining the doors on the north side 2 hours before closing. It was like they were eager to pull the sheet over the patients' eyes before they even died.
