More and more I see people advertising chips for sale on this board asking for payment as a "Paypal Gift".

While many of us think Ebay and Paypal are greedy money hungry businesses, they are in fact in the business to make money.

The Rules on Paypal payments are outlined well and it is against Paypal policy to sent payment for merchandise as a gift.

I know a lot of people dont want to hear that, but by posting here you are soliciting activity that is not only morally wrong, but is actually illegal.

My point is, way too many of our club members are asking people to work around the system and in my opinion that reflects poorly on our members and in some way the club.

Are Paypal fees too high? Sure they are.

But if someone chooses to use a business, shouldnt they pay the appropriate fees and be respectful of the rules to use that business?

Just something to consider.
