Early in my Idaho token collecting search, I ran into some poker chips. Tokens- metal, wooden nickels or scrip--poker chips, all are redeemable at some point. Just trying to to contain my collecting into a logic parameter required including poker chips, plus the early opportunity of picking some up made it a natural to start collecting them. Later I found that I was "plowing new ground" as far as Idaho chips went. Anything you collect gets better as you learn more. In my case it was not long before I realized that anything I learned was "new" to any Idaho poker chip collecor. Even though I was a new token collector, I was the Idaho poker chip guy. I have gotten others interested and now have others to talk to, trade with and share stories with. Even the non Idaho chip collectors (probably 99.9%) here at the Chip Board have been kind, helpful and supportive.
