I forgot I had this picture. I made this nifty thing years ago to measure whether things were eligible for the first class LETTER rate (must be no more than 1/4") or the delivery confirmation thing for PARCEL rate (must be 3/4" or more). I use it all the time. Made of thick cardboard to measure mail-pieces. The post offices have similar measuring tools!
