() when everyone was blaming Bush for Gas Prices. Dont you remember the pictures people were posting with the smiling Bush next to a gas pump?
In reality Governmental policies have a LOT to do with gasoline prices.
The price of Gas is determined by speculators. When a Government (ANY Governemnt) makes statements and regulations that are in conflict with those that are involved in drilling, those speculators cause the price of oil to go up.
Not only in the US, but globally.
Simple economics, but you already knew that......
