At a small casino such as the Golden Buffalo, sometimes the tables are not open till the evening. When we stopped there it was early afternoon and there were no tables open. When I mentioned that I just wanted to buy a few chips and tokens, they had to find someone who would eventually help me out. Same as a year or two later when I stopped there, no tables open and I had to ask again to buy a few of the new issue chips.
