Thanks, Archie. It appears that the center of the $20 silver strikes then is plated brass, not silver. The total token weight is about 1.75 troy ounces. If the actual silver content is only .75 T.O., all the silver is apparently in the ring with the .999 marking.

Do you know if anyone has actually tried to take one of these 20's apart to see if there is a brass center or if the token is one solid piece of silver?
