I should also say that this old time Club was the only club to hold a short lived gambling license from the State of Florida. When slots were legalized in 1935, the club had slot devices attached to the roulette and dice tables so that each spin or toss of the dice started with the attendant pulling a lever on the slot machine and out popped the dice or roulette ball. The dealer would then start the action with that same ball. (It was a slot game...) This had to be repeated for every turn. Clever way to interpret the law. The club closed in 1941.
