Fred -- From the cruise terminal to Treasure Bay Casino at Our Lucaya is about 20 minutes depending on the traffic. The best way to go is take one of the little 14-passenger buses for around $6 to $8 per person. The driver will either take you to the TB Casino or two blocks past it near a public building. One caution, the driver will try to sell you a round trip ticket and then have your party meet at a certain designated place and time for return. That's a sucker deal. There are plenty of buses going and coming throughout the day to set your own time to return to the ship. Across from the Treasure Bay is a huge shopping mall consisting of small shops selling all types of handmade items -- A flea market atmosphere, if you can call it that. Also, you can walk through the shopping area and get to some pretty attractive restaurants on the water and next to a sprawling marina. I recommend the Conch salad made fresh as you order it. You know they say the tasty shellfish improves a man's libido. For the record, I tried it and didn't have to go see a doctor, if you know what I mean. The casino tables open about noon, but if you are a cruise line passenger getting a player's card, they give you $10 per person slot play for signing up, and some other perks. The player's card I received had Treasure Bay, Biloxi, MS on it -- that's a sister casino. But, they may have their own by now. There is another casino nearby, but I don't have any details about it. Drink the local beer -- Kalik -- it's the best. And, by the way, don't eat too much Conch -- I can't be responsible for what happens! Have a nice cruise.
