Finally!!! I was wondering what it took to get casinos in Australia to make Special Edition chips. It almost never happens but it seems that Burswood has decided to spice things up a bit (by Australian Casino standards at least)
These have all been released for the 25th Anniversary in 2011 as well as a couple of Year of the Rabbit chips were just released. I am unsure if there are other denominations (such as $25's or $100's) for the YOT chips as my friend who gets these for me in Western Australia is not a chipper and trying to place an order or get him to look for chips that are "different" is tough at best. I don't think non-chippers can even see blatant differences between chips...they just see $5....$25....$100
After trades with fellow Aussie collectors I only have one of each of the following left if anyone is interested - $25 Fireworks, $10 Casino Photo, $10 Casino with Palm Tree, $10 Year of the Rabbit.
Anyway, enjoy the Aussie special releases as they are seriously few & far between! (also, Jim Follis, feel free to use scans as you wish for YOT or I can email larger ones)
