Did you know that the Pioneer Club never completely closed?? The gaming license is still valid for the property, and gaming is held on site every once in a while to keep the license active? I wish I could find out when and go play some blackjack and 'forget' to cash the chips.

Another is about to happen Apr. 27 at the site of the old Beach club at Convention center and Paradise Rd. where they want to put in a Marriott owned hotel.

I think they have to have live gaming for at least 8 hours, on site, at least every four years or the license expires.
