A "stack"? No. But I did find some antique...

Seymour coded chips that I wanted to ask you about. Not so much about the code, but about the color of one of the chips.

In the scan below, the lone chip at the bottom is green in color. A very, very dark green that sometimes looks black, but in a strong light, it is green. I am familiar with most engraved, antique poker chips being more available in red, white and blue, as that was how they were typically sold in sets of 100. Most designs were available in yellow, as a special order item, when a forth denomination was needed and they were priced a bit higher.

My question is, does green represent a need for a fifth denomination (and exist in even fewer quantities for a given desugn) or, as an alternative special order color vs. yellow, or what?

Thanks Smitty! Next month you need to go! I also picked up some front-strike match books for a quarter and a lone, Commercial Hotel keychained die. Bulls-eye spots and the big ole standing bear.
