Thanks for the advice. I also just looked it up on Google. Should have done that in the first place. I just typed in something like "what are the advantages of pdf" or "pdf v. jpeg." Who needs friends when you have Google!

I didn't understand a lot of it, but I think for my purposes, JPEG is all I need.

In one important respect my list is better than the Elks Club lodge locator, which does not include obsolete lodges. MY (or TAMS) list includes every lodge that ever existed till 1991.
