If you're a rookie this year or an old timer going to this get together for the first time you might enjoy it a bit more if you got there at 5 PM if you intend to eat. Why do I say this? I got there 6 PM sharp last year and ordered my food in 5 minutes after I sat. Many of the people were already done with dinner and were going around exchanging personals. It would have been much more enjoyable if I was also done with dinner to exchange personals as it is kind of hard to meet people while eating dinner and trying to exchange chips. Just trust me on this one and get there at 5 PM you won't regret it.

I never knew Greg Susong, but I sure have read enough about him and have seen much of the work he enjoyed doing for the club. I am honored and humbled to be invited to this get together. One thing I remember people talking on the chip board about was his infectious smile, and I always heard it's much easier to smile and have fun, then to frown and be crabby. For me this kicks off the convention even though it is not an official event. You will meet many many club members and may even make a few friends.
