The new rates are:

3 oz.......$1.71
3.5 oz....$1.88

for every additional ounce, add 17c.

There is no longer a lower rate for 1 or 2 ounce bubble envelopes.

Some people are able to get this kind of mailer accepted at the Letter or 1st class Flats rate, but it's supposed to always be rated a Parcel. I understand the Dead Letter Office has just taken delivery of a new Chip Grinder, which will be the final destination for all chips sent without the proper postage .
