I am just too lazy to make the effort to get rid of the stuff. I had a box of silver that I weighed once and it was over 40 pounds. Had all sorts of crap in it - bars, rounds, coins, gold, jewelry. I even had about 20 old half dollars that were pretty much melted in a house fire. But who wants to get it out of the safety deposit box and fiddle with it? Besides - silver is going over $50 this year.
