Hi All,
I was looking at some of the recent error inlay posts, the ones where the inlay is so out of whack some folks are categorizing them as error chips.
Personally, this kind of "error" does not have a lot of appeal to me. To my eye, the chip itself is so distorted it borders on unrecognizable. I have owned a few of these, but I tend to sell them.
I do have quite a few drill cancelled chips, and the hole does not seem to bother me as much.
So, my question is this: If there was a difficult to get chip that you really wanted in your collection, and you had to choose between two chips, in identical condition, except one is drill cancelled, and the other has a drastically mis-aligned inlay, which would you prefer?
We know which one the error collector would choose, I am more interested in the opinion of the "regular" collectors.
