Ike, I spent many summers in Asbury. When I was in boy scouts, every Columbus Day we would re-enact the landing of Columbus on the beach, and I have been easily to 15 Springsteen concerts. Some of the rides are still there, and the merchants are slowly coming back. The 4th of July is crazy there every year now. Asbury is up and coming, and soon it will be thriving again. The investors are pouring money into the town, and slowly weeding out the drugs and such. Unfortunately, it is somewhat like Atlantic City. The first two blocks are beautiful, tourist trap, then as you go deeper into the city, you hit a brick wall.
