The only casino I remember in a train station was a slots only place - and there were lots of them just like in Vegas. The funniest thing was when we were in St. Petersburg at the Moskba Hotel which had the Panda casino in the basement. They had old worn $.50 chips to pay their BJ's. When I first sat down at the table they had maybe 15 of them in the rack. By the time we checked out a few days later I think I had more than they did. One nite we went to a local dance show. I of course found the show pretty boring but the wife liked it. At the intermission they opened up some very large doors on the left hand side of the room and invited us to go into the next room. In there they had free champagne, shots of vodka and all the cavier you could eat in 15 minutes. Needless to say I got my $15 worth of that show! They went on to another show and I went to the casinos. The last place I stopped at had a sign "free cab ride back to your hotel". I bought the chips I wanted, had them call the cab and tried to down a free beer but the cab came too quick. Cabbie got a very nice tip since it saved me a $20 fare.
