From a "chip collector" stand point, you have come to the right and most frequented place!
But first, WOW! Collecting live-action chips to the $100 denomination is not all that common. Collecting to the $1 denomination is perhaps the most common type of collection, followed by $5 and below. To include $25's is fewer still and $100's, while certainly appealing, has got to be difficult, but they sure look nice!!
I've referred many ChipTalkers (CT'ers) to TheChipBoard and think that I might be the "Jim @ ChipTalk" you are referring to, however, to be sure, if you please, what is your ChipTalk screen name please? (This is NOT critical, I'm just curious for my own sake.)
It would appear that you have been collecting on your own for sometime, apparently without knowledge of the bigger community of casino memorabilia collectors and specifically the . Perhaps your visit here might provide some kinship that may keep you involved in the hobby. That would be nice. However, if it is your intent to get out, then you are also in the right place because there are plenty here that will give advice and counsel.
But first and foremost, if you are not under the gun to sell, then always keep a first offer in mind, but wait for other offers to come in.
Good luck and perhaps you might want to think about sticking around!
Best regards,
Jim Follis
