Hello Chippers:

The 3rd leg (CBS lists it as the 6th leg rather then correctly the 6th episode) concluded on Sunday night.

This leg of the Amazing Race was another 2-parter (much better then having a one-part 'non-elimination' race). At first, THE GOTHS were way behind everyone else (with tons of errors) and usually this would have definately caused them to be 'eliminated' but during the 2nd part of the 3rd leg of the race, THE GOTHS got very lucky by reaching a 'Double U-Turn' seconds before THE CHEERLEADERS made it there. THE GOTHS forced THE CHEERLEADERS to do another task and THE CHEERLEADERS never recovered. So, the two tall red-heads were eliminated !!!

Oh, and THE COWBOYS won this leg of the race.
