The welshman who occsionally sells British casino chips for a few dollar each listed a denominated roulette from Curacao starting at a dollar. It sold for over $200 to a very determined bidder. I had never seen the chip before, but there are 4 different HCE mold chips with a similar hotstamp on the Caribbeanchipboard (including the chip scan from this auction). I'm assuming that, like Puerto Rico, they had roulette tables with dollar values marked on the chip. Different color and edge spots distinguished the various players' bets.
The Caribbean is an interesting collecting area as new chip varieties are still turning up, even though made many years ago. Curacao Hilton has been closed for nearly 30 years.
