That chip should have a bigger catalog premium for condition. It is pretty common in worn or damaged condition, and quite a few have been drilled. A nice SU copy would be worth $100 retail, in my opinion.
By the way, I don't see all the Aladdin 50c pictures in the chip databases I looked at on the www. Here is a scan of those I know about:
The Rose colored chip on the second row is also scarcer than many collectors realize... always a problem when there are a bunch of similar chips ordered by a casino over a period of years.
The second chip has just a big 50c on the reverse.
The purple smcrwn mold is from the early Milton Prell's Aladdin and is apparently one that didn't get completely demolished by the chip grinder. Has anyone seen one that is not damaged?
