Since I came across some Agua Caliente, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, chips, I have been eagerly awaiting the movie "In Caliente" to be shown on TV's Turner Classic Movies. It will finally be shown Friday at 5 PM New York time. Although it is "just" a Busby Berkeley musical comedy, it shows scenes from the famous Agua Caliente gambling resort (1928-1935). Being just a short auto ride from San Diego, during the US depression and prohibition it quickly developed into the most famous gambling resort in the Western Hemisphere, with the richest horse race prizes (Agua Caliente track), richest golf tournaments, etc., etc. The Hollywood elite frequented it often by plane. Then when gambling was declared illegal in Mexico in 1935, it quickly died! Read about it here:

A critic (Pat O'Brien) goes to a Mexican resort and meets a dancer (Dolores del Rio) he had given a bad review.
Cast: Dolores del Rio, Pat O'Brien, Glenda Farrell Director(s): Lloyd Bacon
Here are two video clips about it (the first is the trailer for the movie; the second is a Dolores del Rio dance-musical number):

(Note: the Dolores del Rio clip, in a 'cantina,' is of a stage show within the Agua Caliente resort -- what you see there is NOT Agua Caliente.)
I'll sell one of these table #15 roulette chips (slight burns on one side) for $17 postpaid:
