I understand that IGT was no longer supporting this program a couple of years ago. However, below is a link to the IGT website, copyright 2011, that says they are coming back. I suspect the "souvenir tokens" that fall from the new machine will no longer be .999 silver, though. Due to the silver price increase, the old $10 silver strikes can now be melted for over $15, so any new ones the casino buys to stock their machines will have to have less silver (or maybe none at all).
There are www posts from 2009 that list only a handful of silver strike machines still operating in Las Vegas.
