But were they made by Paul-son? If not, I would question the use of the term "Paulson samples", when most in the collecting hobby would expect that to mean "made by Paul-son to represent the product they make".
May sound like a minor quibble, but collecting sample casino chips has become a very popular specialty for some members of the collector community. I know there are some other grey areas, as when a distributor's name is put on a chip made by someone else. However, I don't think the Paulson name should be used unless they are involved somehow in the design, manufacture, or sales of the line of chips.
