...I play low limit poker tourneys for fun on the internet, but also place my lottery tickets online (don't ever forget that way, and simple) and if I want to bet on the horses or football (which was very profitable for me this weekend) then most of my play is online these days. Generally better odds and immediate payments.

Don't get me wrong, I don't really bet much and it is only small stakes stuff, but I like to have the option - internet, phone or bookmakers, my choice not the government!!!

Only time I ever had a problem was when I was on holiday in the US at the start of the football season and the software knew i was in the US and wouldn't let me place by season-bets. Had to make an international phone call to put them on instead - at least they offered a toll-free phone number for that eventuality!!
