of the effort & difficulties involved with such a name change, not to mention the requirement to amend the club's constitution. While I believe that there would be great benefit to a name change towards expanding the "reach" of the club, I personally am not the one that would have to pursue this change through the state & federal levels. Also, there has not been enough support for such a change even within our BoD. Based on the discussions on this subject in which I have participated, I believe that there can be other ways to go about achieving the end result without actually changing the club's name. One or two of these ideas will soon be refined and presented to those people involved in such a process.
