Years ago as an example ... well before "Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club" was even though of ... the original name of TAMS (Token & Medal Society) was called Token, Medal & Paper Money Society. The paper money collectors wanted their own organization and split off from the TAMS group and became Paper Money Society (much like the Silver Strikers are).

At the ANA (American Numismatic Association) conventions ... all areas of numismatics are welcome and represented ... just like all areas of casino collectibles are welcome and represented under the umbrella of . If the name of our club were to be changed to a different name that didn't include "casino chips", people typing the word "casino chip" on internet search engines would not readily find us.
