... when the was originally formed? I assume, since I wasn't there, that it was for persons who collected casino chips and tokens. Therefore, I guess, a good descriptive name at the time. Yes, some or most organizations or clubs progress over time or morph into more than what they were originally, but, does that really mean the name of the club should change too? You have an established legacy in place and more people are beginning to realize that; there's better communication, better advertising, the club magazine, the convention, etc.
What would the new "suggested" name be of the club that would include... everyone? How about "Casino Memorabilia Collectors Club", the "CMCC"?
Personally, I like it the way it is now... but, if someone does come up with a catchy new name and abbreviation that includes more and different types of collectors related to casinos/gambling, I would at least listen.
