IMHO some shipping rates posted here just don't make much sence to me. Everybody seems to have a pretty good idea what it costs them to ship 1 chip but I do not understand the concept of adding "25 cents for each chip after that." If I can explain my shipping rates: I charge $1.58 to ship chips that I post here on the board no matter how many you buy. It cost me $1.41 to ship up to two chips (1oz) using Paypal shipping with delivery confirmation. At $1.58 that rate is right about the break even point once I figure in the cost of the bubble mailer, label, ink, and tape. It cost me $1.58 for just the postage to ship 2oz and that is about 5 chips... I eat the cost for the materials. It costs me $1.71 to go over 3oz but when that happens... I just sold a nice bunch of chips! Why penalize the buyer for buying more of your chips by adding the 25 cents per chip?
FREE SHIPPING is nice but who the heck can afford to do it without adding it to the price of the chip but in the case of an expensive chip I am all for it.
I will step off of the soap box now and enjoy all of the nice chip scans now.
