At our trade session yesterday one member had a chip with the opposite discoloration. The outside ring was darkened from white to tan but the inlay was OK. What ever did it also darkened all three of the inserts severely. Have you ever seen a chip like that or know what could casue the condition? We were thinking it may have been soaked in an acid or something. I wish I had taken a scan of it to show.
