To me, a lammer is a no-value chip used by casino personnel to indicate the value of something on a table. Examples are the chips used to indicate funds advanced by the casino to a player that he hasn't signed for, or a chip placed atop a stack of roulette chips on the table to indicate the denomination of that color roulette chip. I hadn't thought of using it to include chips handled by the player.
I've never heard the term "lammer" used for an NCV tournament buy-in chip, Andy. Can you give us your rationale?
