Andy how true... I have received chips many ways including directly taped to paper (sometimes I can't believe they arrive at all). I put mine in flips then secure it to a note card or a folded up invoice. If you don't have a flip then wrap it in saran wrap or glad wrap and tape it down. Usually if you have it on a note card (or invoice) the chip won't be loose and will not break through the envelope. I also recommend padded envelopes.
