According to today's New York Post: "An Apple staffer told the prominent Apple blog Cult Of Mac that a third version of the iPad is expected before the holiday season."

I have the "old" iPad and I love it. I am going to hold off on the newest version. I would like the faster speed of the newer model, but I don't need the cameras, and the storage capabilities are the same between the old and new. The new version does have the ability to connect to a TV in HD, but you can connect the original iPad to a television, so I am not going to rush out and get the new one.

However, if you don't have one, get an iPad!
