Hi Todd, dont you mean 20 miles NE of Mtn Home ID?....lived in Mt.Home from 70-74 and Anderson Ranch Dam was always the short weekend getaway....Did alot of camping, backpacking, metal detecting, fishing, all the way to the ghost towns of Featherville and Rocky Bar. Used to swim in the Anderson Ranch Reservior until one day while fishing from the bank in one of the coves, where half a dozen boats were anchored, I seen 3 snakes 6-8 foot long being killed that had wrapped themselves around the boat motors. Didnt go swimming in the reservior after that.
Back then i was into shooting Color infrared film and I have some cool snaps of the Dam and waterfalls along Fall Creek, I'll post some if I can ever dig them up.
