I always enjoyed Mark's posts on the chipboard. After some of his trips (especially trips to Fitzgeralds in Reno) he'd come on the board and tell us stories that often included Blondes, booze and blackjack... .
I never met Mark, but I always felt like I knew him...he was a kindred spirit in this crazy world. Rest in peace my friend, you were a special person.
Here's one of my favorite Mark threads. Our Nevada Club addict (Mark) had bought several of the souvenir postcards, with pictures of slot players, that were given out at the Nevada Club. He'd spent a lot of time studying the people that were pictured on the cards, and trying to put together the story of their adventures at the Nevada Club. The extra-cool thing about Mark's cards, is that you could look out through the window of the Nevada Club and see the Bird Cage Casino across the street! I hope whoever has those postcards now will enjoy them as much as Mark did...
