The chip is only worth what I'm willing to pay for it. I payed above value, and way below. It is never about the price, it is always about the hobby. Many times I'll give a fellow collector a chip or two he want, with the idea that down the road he will do the same for me. So far that has worked well. I do not collect for the value, only the fun. Price guides for me are nothing more than helping me determine a ball park figure, or how rare the chip is. Being a illegal collector even that is suspect, and you just go with your gut.

As for all the drama, that I have seen on this board, the best thing to do is just stay out of it. My believe is live and let live. Enjoy the hobby, and make some friends.
