HOWEVER, as a newer member, you may not be aware of the tussle regarding slabbed chips of a few years ago. They chose to sell some chips in slabbed form and there was a a big "discussion" about it.

You should be able to find some of the extended threads about it in the archives by searching on slab or slabbed and their name.

If you're not a member of the slab-free group, then it's your decision re doing business with them, but some in the hobby have chosen to buy elsewhere. And in fact, it's my understanding that this establishment has chosen to bar some (slab-free) chippers from bidding on its items on ebay.
