Does UPS insure currency. Which is what some may consider chips. I have insured Tiffany lamps with UPS which were insured for thousands and the boxes were opened and inspected so I know they will insure art and collectable's.

Anyway my real question is has anyone put in a claim with the USPS. What do you say is in the package. They do not insure currency, collectable's or anything of value. Well my understanding is they will insure, they will not pay once they hear what is damaged or lost.
