John, If you were very tech savy I would agree with Bob. But since you are probably more like me, go ahead and get the $499 Wi-Fi I-Pad. I just got one and I'm a total idiot when it comes to computers. I love the I-Pad, it's easy to use, great for travel, and does everything I need. Regards
