Wow....what are the probabilities of getting them three time in a row! Yeah...having them hold up three times in a row is just as rare.
With my situation, I thought having them back to back in the big and small blinds was ultra cool.
I wasn't lucky enough to have both hands hold up. At the time, there were 11 people left....one more person to go out before the final table.
The first AA hand I tripled up, which put me just a couple chips shy of chip leader, who was the girl to my left. The second hand everyone folded to my small blind, so I gave just a small raise. I thought about limping, but she wasn't the type of player to raise a sb limp. Big blind thought I was going after her blind....so as she was thinking about how much to raise I said "don't get crazy now, I might have pocket aces again" That's all she needed to hear....and she pushed. She turned over Qh-Jc.
Then came this board: x-x-x-Q-Q. IGHN.
It was a make me or break me hand. If I won, I would have probably twice the chip stack of everyone else on the combined table, which is always a nice way to start the final table. If I lost, I go home.
But I came away with a great story of back to back aces in the blinds. That was the coolest part.
