Sounds like we need a pre-convention auction or something to that effect to generate additional advertising revenue. The perverbial word has to get out there to more people. If more people show up at the convention and see what it is "all" about, they may be inclined to join the (maybe we should start offering discounts to the convention for members only where everyone else pays full price?). When I first started collecting chips back in 2004, I knew "NOTHING" about chip collecting, the nor about any conventions. Sure, I found a few chip-related web sites, but they only had chips to sell at the time. It wasn't until the end of 2007 when I learned of ChipChat, the and this ChipBoard.

Does anyone know of any celebrities that collect chips, tokens, and/or other casino memorabilia? A celebrity endorsement would help...
