I need help on how to buy Lionel trains for birthday gift to a 3-4 years old boy, February 02. Has to mail to Villanova, PA - mail order would be good.

Between the range of $500 to $800 (I saw a set for $12000 which is expensive for starter) a set which is also expandable when the kid gets to high school, college and beyond.

This is one toy I "never" had and never played - the child in me wants it for the grand kid.
