Until it can be confirmed that, that chip was used in an actual California Card Room, it should never get added to any guide, especially the California Card Room Chip Guide.

If this chip gets added to the 'Guide' without some sort of corroboration, it does a great disservice to Cali chip collectors (like myself).

I hope, in the end, that it is discovered that this 'new find' is a chip which was used in an actual Cali card room ... but right now, it could just as easily have been used in a home game.

I trust in Dick Staeffler's Chip Guide to provide honest and educated information of chips from California. If this chip is added, at this point (with clearly doubt on its history), how can one trust the information this 'guide' provides.
