... one Saturday morning I was awakened ny the phone with Chase MasterCard on the phone asking if I had authorized a number of charges. My account is visible on the computer so I went and looked at all the charges. There were $5,300 in charges! MasterCard and I straightened out the whole mess within 30 minutes, and I was not out a dime. My account number was changed and I did not have use of my card for a couple of days untill the new one arrived- but that was a small price to pay for fraud against my card.
ANOTHER STORY
My son's credit cards are ALWAYS bein denied. When it gets denied, he calls them. Their response is Mr. Poole we stopped your card because it has been used in seven states in the past 9 hours, there MUST be fraud involved. He replies, "Damn, this is the third time this month! Turn my card BACK ON, I am a PILOT, I have BEEN to those 7 states in the past 9 hours!!"
