I would like to put in a plug for the Excalibur. It is on the strip - but you're coming to Las Vegas - The strip is the "Disney World" of Las Vegas. The Excalibur is probably the most kid-freindly place I know of. I've been run over by more than one stroller there - oh boy! It is huge and has alot to offer a family if you need to just hang out at your own hotel for a while. It has a lower level with lots of kids games and such. It has three pools - one of which is a "kids" pool. It has the cool "Tournament of Kings" show with horses and sword fights and is a very fun show for kids. It has nice refurbished rooms with flat screen T.V.s and Granite countertops in the bathrooms - I stayed in "Tower 2" and I paid $24 a night during the week and $70 on Friday and Saturday last year for the convention. I don't know what rates you will be able to get, but they are almost always the most competitive. Check em out!
