As I posted on Friday (12/31/10):

"I will close the contest sometime tomorrow, and my daughter will draw the winner on Sunday."

On Saturday (1/1/11 - approximately 5:13pm EST - aka "tomorrow"), I shut down the contest. My daughter came home early, and since the contest was closed down, I had her draw the winner right away. If I had waited another 7 hours, it would not have made a difference - I would not have accepted any other entries. The results would have been the same.
