that players must protect their own hand at all times. The last posted rule says that the floor decision is final. Of course a call to gaming can sometimes trump the last rule.
As for the original topic. In cash games in our room the all-in hands do not have to be turned face up prior to running out the board. Only a player who has called the last bet can asked to see the hand of the other player....and in that case the hand is live.
