I stopped in at the Trop this afternoon- here's the new activity: Poker room is nearly ready to go, I have heard that Apr. 15 is the scheduled date. The room is getting the final touches. Location is same as it was in 2007, right next to the new sportsbook.

The Tiffany glass ceiling is still there, but has been re-lit in red from above to match the new color scheme of the hotel. It looks OK I suppose, it just detracts from the different colors- (see before shot)

Lastly, I saw what the new construction is where they imploded the 1959 3-story wing- a parking lot!!
